The Structural Certification Manager will work with the R&D team to ensure that the design and structure of products and their respective materials are tested and certified in order to pass safety and durability requirements of the technology and go to market.  

This person will be very familiar with the technology to be able to work closely with the Product and Solutions team to define specifications for new components and products and then validate the structural integrity of these. This person will also have experience with relevant industry standards and certification processes in order to put the products and their parts through the necessary processes to ensure they comply with local and international structural and safety requirements.  

Key requirements include: 

• A Civil Engineering degree with Structural Engineering specialization 

• CPEng certification 
• Experience in structural engineering, preferably working with steel and concrete 
• Experience with relevant industry standards and certification processes 
• Project management experience to manage both structural validation processes and certification processes efficiently and effectively 
• Effective verbal and written communication skills  

• Experience defining changing requirements in view of failed structural testing in order to source/re-design new materials/products to ensure improved structural integrity

The Solution Architect will scope and oversee the development and implementation of the necessary systems to create the platform. This is a greenfield opportunity and the Solution Architect must be technology agnostic. They are responsible for making sure projects are completed on time and on budget, and once implemented, they will maintain systems and continuously find ways to improve these, in line with changing requirements within a growing company and a constantly evolving industry. They are also responsible for maintaining seamless connectivity between all company systems.

They will also work with the supply chain team to ensure that purchased goods and services are delivered as promised.

The Industrial and Controls Technician, based in Melbourne, will be responsible for installation of control systems into customer sites as well as feedback to the development team for future enhancements of the control system. This feedback is a crucial aspect of the role, working with software designers and hardware engineers to scope and define controller functionality to ensure reliable operation and control of onsite power generation as well as to advise on scalability and efficiency of installations.

They will also support the engineering team with site audits and assessment for energy efficiency projects.

• A Grade Electrical License.

A Commercial and Investment Director, Power Generation is required to grow the power generation portfolio for this independent power producer. They will be expected to lead and support new power generation asset investment initiatives already underway and proposed in Australia as well as support the construction and operation team in respect of existing projects. They will manage and/or support the commercial and investment aspects of the project portfolio across the investment cycle from acquisition, development, financing, construction and operation, with a focus on renewable energy and gas fired power generation projects.

The Director’s responsibilities will be:

• Project management of acquisition opportunities/divestments including due diligence and negotiation of sale and purchase agreements and shareholder agreements
• Coordination of the structuring and price setting process for bids to potential off-takers
• Preparation, structuring and execution of financing/refinancing plans for existing and new projects on a portfolio or individual basis including leading negotiations with banks/financial institutions
• Risk allocation, bankability, optimisation & tax structuring for existing/new projects
• Maintain and develop existing relationships with debt providers, potential investors, potential off-takers, EPC contractors, distribution companies, landholders and governments
